Here's your local news at a glance for Saturday, the 4th of April.
Good morning, Longmont.
Boulder Canyon Trail reopened Friday afternoon after temporary repairs fixed a deep hole near a bridge on Fourmile Canyon Drive (the trail now measures about 6 feet wide instead of 8 to 10 feet) and county officials said a long-term fix will require future closures.
Boulder County is under a red flag warning for areas below 6,000 feet as low humidity (16%) and winds (20 to 35 mph gusting to 45 mph) fuel wildfire risks.
Longmont could see temperatures reach 55 degrees Friday while officials urge caution as fire restrictions apply.
