- ➤ Boulder Canyon Trail reopened Friday afternoon after temporary repairs fixed a deep hole near a bridge on Fourmile Canyon Drive (the trail now measures about 6 feet wide instead of 8 to 10 feet) and county officials said a long-term fix will require future closures. Colorado Hometown Weekly

- ➤ Boulder County is under a red flag warning for areas below 6,000 feet as low humidity (16%) and winds (20 to 35 mph gusting to 45 mph) fuel wildfire risks. Longmont could see temperatures reach 55 degrees Friday while officials urge caution as fire restrictions apply. Colorado Hometown Weekly
