- ➤ Boulder Valley and St. Vrain Valley school districts are accepting petitions from candidates to run for the November school board election with forms due August 29. In Boulder Valley, four candidates are contesting for three open seats in District E after incumbent Beth Niznik is not seeking reelection because she is starting a doctorate program in educational policy — in St. Vrain Valley, five candidates are competing for four openings. - ➤ The Denver Post released a list of 101 top high school football players set to compete in the 2025 season—this list includes local talent like Joey Foot from Longmont and players chosen from prospect lists, all-state teams, and 2024 stats.
