- ➤ Longmont and the Northern Arapaho Tribe finished the first elder exchange between a U.S. city and a tribal nation with two trips—one in March when Arapaho elders visited Longmont and one in July when local seniors traveled to Wyoming. - ➤ Longmont nonprofit HOPE is seeking a church or commercial building to serve as an overnight shelter three nights a week—Thursday through Saturday—to help homeless individuals stay warm as colder weather approaches.
