- ➤ The Longmont Recreation Center at 310 Quail Road will close on August 18 for extra repairs that will extend until August 31—repairing the pool and gym floor so it can reopen on Labor Day. - ➤ Authorities arrested 23-year-old Angel Lozano in Dacono Monday morning—he fled Colorado after allegedly fatally shooting Aaron Villa in March in El Paso County—and booked him at Weld County Jail on a $1 million bond pending extradition to Texas. Longmont Times-Call
