- ➤ Boulder County is celebrating a week of art with many galleries, museums and community centers hosting diverse exhibits—from lithographs to ceramics—and local Longmont venues like Firehouse Art Center and The Great Frame Up joining the lineup. The CU Art Museum’s 'Turn, Turn, Turn — Picturing Time' exhibit runs until July, and several shows in Boulder and nearby continue through early fall. Longmont Times-Call
- ➤ Boulder County offers a wide range of events this weekend and beyond with a comedy play running in Boulder through Aug. 24, a film festival at the Dairy Arts Center, and a radio taping that was held Friday, while Gold Hill hosted a pick-and-grin concert on Saturday. Longmont residents can enjoy a free family dance party as part of the Summer Art and Music Series, a free Dragons and Damsels Hike at Pella Crossing from 10 a.m. to noon, and a youth performance of The Addams Family at Jesters Dinner Theatre—additional shows are scheduled later in the week.
