- ➤ At the Boulder County Fairgrounds at 9595 Nelson Road near Longmont, the carnival is open from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. today and offers 25 rides and about 15 games for all ages—a new ride, Spin Out, flips riders upside down—and the 88-foot Ferris wheel draws large crowds as organizers expect up to 150,000 visitors over the five-day fair.
