NCAR’s Gulfstream V plane will take its first official flight today from the Broomfield Research Aviation Facility as part of NASA’s INSPYRE project studying hazardous firestorm clouds.
The aircraft will log 100 hours before Sept. 10 — data that may help improve wildfire predictions for our community.
🏛️ Government
Longmont residents will gain direct airport access with the new RTD bus route starting Sept.
27, with hourly departures from the Park-n-Ride at Eighth Avenue and Coffman Street — stopping at U.S. 287, Niwot, and Lafayette Park-n-Rides before reaching DIA.
