- ➤ Longmont Museum will start its gallery expansion project with a groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. at 400 Quail Road; museum staff will share project renderings and details while serving light refreshments, and the expansion includes a new children’s gallery, a redesigned permanent history gallery, and a larger feature gallery that will be finished by fall. - ➤ Frederick High theater adviser Christopher Parr organized a summer alumni performance of Six: Teen Edition with six 2024 graduates, current students and alumni to raise funds for the theater program and boost community theater interest. - ➤ St. Vrain Valley high school designers — who use underwater robots to help Longmont monitor water quality — are leading a Creative Technology for Good camp at Timberline PK-8 where 60 students learn robotics, cybersecurity, and coding.
