- ➤ Mohamed Soliman—accused of throwing Molotov cocktails in a June attack that hurt over a dozen people and killed one—appeared in Colorado court on July 15 and waived his preliminary hearing so that state and federal charges can move forward with an arraignment set for Sept. 9. CBS Colorado
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Officials announced that commuter rail service linking Denver, Boulder and Longmont will begin by January 2029 as part of an intergovernmental agreement backed by state legislation. The plan partners with the Front Range Passenger Rail District to extend the rail line and includes ongoing negotiations with BNSF Railway—voters approved FasTracks in 2004 to spur transit expansion.
