- ➤ Carlos Alonso Ytuarte-Quinones, 37, was sentenced on Friday to up to 51 years in prison for drug, kidnapping and organized crime charges linked to Operation Blue Steal, which seized nearly 100 pounds of narcotics and tracked drug sales in Longmont and other areas. Longmont Times-Call

- ➤ Local leaders and transit board members will meet at the Longmont Museum Auditorium from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday to discuss the Northwest rail project and Front Range Passenger Rail’s role. - ➤ On Tuesday evening, the Longmont City Council reviewed economic data and planned a community feedback event scheduled for August that will gather input from business owners—workers affected by a proposed minimum wage increase. - ➤ New research from CU Boulder shows that about 44% of marijuana flower products in Colorado are mislabeled for THC content, with many products overstating potency (the study tested 178 products from 52 dispensaries).
