HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Colorado used $3 million from the state’s opioid settlement fund to supply naloxone to local organizations, Attorney General Phil Weiser announced on Tuesday, citing preliminary CDC data that showed over 300 fewer overdose deaths in 2024 (a 15.6% drop) and a 31% decline in deaths involving synthetic opioids (including fentanyl and methamphetamine).
