  • BizWest hosted its annual IQ Awards and Mercury 100 celebration on Thursday in Berthoud to honor innovative products and the fastest-growing private companies in Boulder Valley and Northern Colorado.   • Longmont’s Warped Wolf festival will run from June 19 to 22 at Großen Bart Brewery with over 35 bands and local vendors offering live art experiences—attendees pay a suggested donation of $20 per day. Festival founder Luna Wolf said the event supports her nonprofit that helps marginalized communities by creating a welcoming space for diverse artists and audiences—bringing people together in a community potluck style.  Colorado Hometown Weekly

  • The United Food and Commercial Workers Local7 announced a 72-hour strike notice for grocery workers to walk off the job today at Safeway/Albertsons stores in Estes Park, Fountain and Pueblo, plus a Denver distribution center—more workers in Longmont and other cities will vote in the coming days.  CBS Colorado
