Here's your local news at a glance for Friday, the 25th of April.
Good morning, Longmont.
💼 Business
Local artist Kyra Coates closed her Longmont studio after her main supplier shut down due to tariffs, which forced increased costs.
Her dress, normally sold for $105, would have cost about $250 if made in the United States, a change that has raised concerns for small businesses.
🏛️ Government
Colorado transportation officials urge drivers to slow down around construction zones during Work Zone Awareness Week after 31 people died in 23 work zone crashes last year.
The Colorado Department of Transportation says these crashes are 100%-preventable and warns that speeding in work zones will bring doubled fines and points on licenses.
