🏛️ Government
A town hall meeting in Boulder drew bus riders asking about the new Colorado Connector passenger rail service, scheduled to open in 2029.
Officials said regional transit improvements may change commute options for Longmont residents and other locals in the coming years.
A free training on disaster preparedness for small businesses will be held today at Superior Civic Space (2250 Main St) from 10 to 11:45 a.m., where Boulder’s disaster management office and local partners will offer guidance on protecting businesses during disruptions.
Registration shows 17 spaces remain.

The Denver Nuggets shared their playoff schedule against the Timberwolves.
Game 1 is Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Ball Arena — Game 3 and 4 are in Minneapolis on April 23 and 25, with later games set in Denver and Minnesota if needed.
