- ➤ Johnnie St. Vrain, a Longmont Costco fan, said drivers eastbound on Ken Pratt Boulevard must change lanes near South Martin because the right lane is for turning only—forcing vehicles into the center lane before turning at Costco. - ➤ At 1:53 a.m. on Saturday, Longmont police responded to a disturbance in the 300 block of Main Street when a man threatened two people with a deadly weapon and stabbed one before fleeing on foot — officers pursued him with a Taser and transported him to Boulder County Jail after he was medically cleared. - ➤ Boulder County victim advocates work around the clock to help victims at crime scenes and through follow-up outreach, offering emotional support and resources in urban and mountain areas. The program—run by the sheriff’s office—is actively recruiting volunteers and provides detailed training and monthly support meetings, while Longmont’s long-standing victim assistance team continues its work with a small group of full-time staff and volunteers. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Boulder County Public Health completed routine inspections of restaurants, schools, and food service facilities from March 7th to March 20th in several communities including Longmont—most establishments scored within the safe range while a few will need reinspection due to minor violations.
