- ➤ Longmont’s Left Hand Artist Group is set to hold its absurd April Fool’s Day parade on April 1. Participants will gather at 5:47 p.m. near Roosevelt Park and drift along a small sidewalk route to brighten senior living communities — showcasing playful art, quirky costumes and a fun spirit. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Since January, CDOT cameras on Highway 119 have issued nearly 10,000 speeding tickets and collected over $700K in fines, which will support an expansion of the program to I-25 north from Meade to Berthoud; tickets there will begin April 1. CBS Colorado
- ➤ City Council approved a new plaque at Lafayette Cemetery to list roughly 200 names of those buried in unmarked graves after community pressure, and city staff will begin work funded by the council contingency (public input spurred the update). Colorado Hometown Weekly
